Lithuania 1900 - California 1974

Max Band was born in Lithuania, studied in Berlin, lived in Paris and moved to California where he eventually died.

Exhibited : Berlin 1924,1929 and 1931 ; Paris 1926,1929 and 1932 Salon d'Automne ; Paris Salon des Tuileries between 1930 and 1939 ; New York 1926,1931 and in Amsterdam , London ,Geneve.
